'Meet the Maker' - Celebrate English Wine Week with Fischer's & Gusbourne

We are thrilled to welcome Gusbourne back to Fischer’s for our next Meet the Maker event on Thursday, 25th June 2026, as we celebrate English Wine Week.

A boutique English winery in Kent, Gusbourne, produces the most awarded English Sparkling wine. Three-time winner of the International Wine & Spirits Challenge English Wine Producer of the Year in 2013, 2015 and 2017. In 2023, Gusbourne was bestowed with the prestigious title of WineGB Estate Winery of the Year for the third consecutive year, a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence in the wine industry. The winery’s remarkable achievements extended beyond national boundaries, with a plethora of medals and accolades earned in international competitions, including several notable “best in show” awards. These accomplishments underscore Gusbourne’s unparalleled expertise in crafting exceptional wines revered by connoisseurs worldwide.

The Event
The evening will begin with a drinks reception hosted by Gusbourne and the Fischers’ team, followed by a four-course menu with expertly paired wines.

Our Head Chef, John Shuttleworth, and his team have worked closely with Gusbourne to create a series of seasonal dishes designed to perfectly complement the Gusbourne collection.
